| Ed Deacy (born 28 April, 1946 in Brooklyn) is a New York City police detective, who has had notable singing and acting gigs. Perhaps best known as the one-time "official national anthem singer" for the NYC police department, Deacy has sung at Madison Square Garden, Yankee Stadium, and for presidents including Ronald Reagan. He has released an album called My Celtic Heart. He has portrayed himself in the movies Goodfellas, Out for Justice, and The Signs of the Cross.
