Actors - Eddie Paskey

Eddie Paskey is a U.S. actor primarily known for his uncredited role as "Lieutenant Leslie" in the original Star Trek. This character is noted for dying and coming back to life in the episode "Obsession" without any explanation being given, as though it had been cut in editing. William Shatner
gave the character the name Leslie after Shatner's eldest daughter. Paskey occasionally appeared as a stand-in for Shatner in certain long scenes. He appeared in most of the episodes from the first two seasons of the original series. A bad back and headaches worsened from the set lighting led to his retirement.

Paskey appeared in minor roles in Mission Impossible and a few other television shows. His only credited role may be his first in the drama Ben Casey, in which he is credited as "Policeman." He had one line in this role, which was, "Do you want to follow me to the hospital?"

After retiring from acting he went into business for himself in Santa Ana, California, owning and operating an auto-detailing service there called The Air Shop with his wife Judy. They have four children.

According to his website, Eddie Paskey has recently sold his business in and is currently seeking acting jobs. In 2004, he appeared in the Star Trek: New Voyages episode "Come What May" as Admiral Leslie, a character established as Lieutenant Leslie's father.
