, Lucille Tarlek in WKRP in Cincinnati, next door neighbor Patti Poole in The Hogan Family, next-door neighbor Bonnie Brindle in Small Wonder, and the car rental agent whom Steve Martin berates in Planes, Trains & Automobiles
. McClurg can be seen in nearly 90 movies and 55 TV episodes, most likely playing a middle-aged somewhat stubborn/idiotic woman (usually from the Midwest, or more specifically Minnesota because of her dialect). She began her career doing additional voices for The Jetsons and was recently in Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star

She can now be heard as the voice of Fran the squirrel on Higglytown Heroes on The Disney Channel.
