"Eight Line Poem" is a song written by David Bowie in 1971 for the album Hunky Dory. It is something of a second part to "Oh! You Pretty Things" since the two flow together without any separation. It is a laidback song with simple piano and country-tinged guitar. As the title suggests, Bowie sings only eight lines.Live versions
