Elly Stone is a singer whose voice has the timbre of Piaf and just the hint of a teardrop. She is most famous for her performance on "Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris" as an off-Broadway musical as well as her starring role in the 1974 movie of the same. She was one of the first Americans to sing his songs in English.

Considered by Brel himself to be one of the finest female performers he had ever heard.

She currently resides in New York City.
