Death

In one article, Lee's brother reveals the truth about Eunjoo's suicide. To summarize, she went to her cousin's high school graduation to celebrate on the morning of the day when she committed suicide. Eunjoo and he returned home around noon and they had lunch together with their mother. After lunch, at 2 o'clock, she quietly went into her room on the second floor as her mother and brother had a conversation downstairs about their cousin's graduation. They didn't know what was happening on the second floor. The conversation ended around 3:30 and as Eunjoo hadn't appeared for an hour and a half, her brother went upstairs to see what she was doing. He had no idea what had been going on in her room until he opened the door; he was surprised, frightened and didn't know what to do. Eunjoo was in her closet with a belt around her neck. He knew immediately that she had committed suicide, and lost even the energy to yell. What, he asks, woud you do if your sibling died right in front of you?

According to the article, Lee needed to earn more money because her mother was deep in debt. So she decided to take the role of a main character in an adult movie. She was very uncomfortable with this role, and later felt bad and also alone, so she committed suicide.

Eunjoo Lee's best friends who are actors and singers say they still can't believe that Lee committed suicide. Even her best friends said they didn't know it was going to happen. "Eunjoo always tried to smile and make us smile so that we didn't know she was sad or she was going to committee suicide. We still can't believe it, "they said.

Another man who is a singer was good friends with Eunjoo. He didn't sing for a while after Eunjoo committed suicide. In October 2005, when he came back to the stage to sing, he announced he would write a song for Eunjoo. "Even though she died, all of us still miss her and I'm going to sing a song for her this December," he said.
