Feroz Khan (b. 25 September, 1939 in Bangalore, India and sometimes spelt as Firoz Khan) is a Bollywood actor and director. He made his Bollywood debut as an actor in 1960 but had to play the second lead in most of the movies. He turned producer and director so as to improve his career opportunities as the first lead or hero. His 1975 film Dharmatma was the first Indian film to shoot in Afghanistan. The movie Qurbani (1980) was the biggest hit of his career and also launched the singing career of Nazia Hasan. He is the father of model and actor, Fardeen Khan. He launched his son Fardeen Khan in Prem Aggan(1998) which he also produced and directed. He made a comeback as an actor with Janasheen (2003) and Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena(2005) starring opposite his son Fardeen.Awards
