Frances Day (December 16, 1908 - April, 1984) was an American actress and singer who achieved great popularity in the UK in the 1930s.

Day's real name was Frances Victoria Schenck and she was born in East Orange, New Jersey. Her career began in New York City as a nightclub singer and progressed to the London musical stage. Frances passed away in Brighton, UK.
