Gary Edward Lucy was born November 27, 1981. His family consist of Rosemary and Gary Snr and one older sister . He is an English television actor. He was born in Chigwell, Essex, England.

Growing up, Gary wanted to be a professional footballer, even trying out for the Tottenham and Watford youth teams. Unfotunately he didn't make the grade so turned his attention to acting.

He has been dating paediatric nurse Natasha Gray for the last couple of years and in August 2005 Natasha gave birth to the couples first child, India Jasmine. According to Gary they do plan to marry but are in no real rush to do so.

Acting Career

Gary cut his acting teeth in shows like Grange Hill and Dream Team before getting the role that would totally change his career, Luke Morgan in Hollyoaks. In this teen soap Gary did a male rape storyline, which got him major recognition for the outstanding acting he did during the storyline. He even won the 'best newcomer' award at the 2000 British Soap Awards. After the conclusion of the storyline Gary decided to leave Hollyoaks . He then went on to do 3 series of the ITV1 drama Footballers Wives where he played Kyle Pascoe in a David Beckhamesque type role. In 2004 Gary starred along side Ray Winstone
in the ITV drama She's Gone as Micheal Sands. Gary can currently be seen as PC Will Fletcher in ITV's The Bill.
