Gigi Lai Chi (Simplified Chinese: 黎姿, born on 1 October 1971) is a Hong Kong actress under contract to the TVB television channel.

She is the grand-daughter of Mr. Man-Wai Lai (黎文偉), who is a key figure of the first generation filmmakers, and have been refered as "Father of Hong Kong Movie" in Hong Kong cinematic history. Her aunt Ms. S. Lai (黎萱) is also an veteran actress

She is generally a co-star rather than a female lead in most serials like Doomed to Oblivion.

With a successful acting career, Gigi is now trying her luck in singing and has released several albums already. She says that she actually likes singing (and dancing) more than acting.

She won the TVB Most Popular Actress Award in 2004.

Her nickname is Lychee.
Gigi garnered a lot of praise and criticism at the same time. According to some audiences, her character, Yuk Ying in the TVB serial War and Beauty, was very outstanding. However, her heavy breathing in her crying scenes drew some criticism from the audience. The producer quickly jumped to her defense, saying that her "innocent and girlish" front needs it, and when her character develops it will not be there anymore.
It was said that Gigi Lai was awarded because TVB wanted her to extend her contract and continue to be a TVB actress, and that Sheren Tang deserved the award more than she did.
