Gina Gershon (born June 10, 1962 in Los Angeles, California to Stan Gershon and Mickey Koppel) is an American actress of Jewish descent.

Gershon is well known for having a large and dedicated gay and lesbian following, probably influenced in part by her lesbian/bisexual roles in such movies as Bound
and Showgirls
. In both films (especially Showgirls) she has sexually explicit, nude lesbian love scenes.

Gershon has been linked to singers Lenny Kravitz and Beck, and has dated hotelier Shawn Mcpherson, weathly entrepreneur Jay Penske, and actor John Cusack.
