"Girl In the Mirror" is the fifth and final single from Pop singer Britney Spears released from the album Oops!... I Did It Again
during the second quarter of 2001.

The song is another of Spears' autobiographical works. It tells of someone who finds herself lonely after a break-up and wants to be able to cheer up. It was produced by Max Martin and Rami.

Music video

As Spears was on hiatus, she was not able to film a video for this track. It was released only in Asia, where some music channels used an unofficial video which features a montage of Spears photographs and short visualizations of Spears looking at herself in a mirror.

Official remixes/versions

"Girl In The Mirror" has not been officially remixed, though there is a longer version of the song (4:12). Several fan-made remixes have been made.

Chart performance

After the sudden flop of Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know, Jive Records released this song in Asia to bolster the ablum's sales. It was released only to airplay and therefore did not have commercial sales to aid it on charts. However, it was released a limited edition CD Single in the Philippines, available only in 2001. "Girl in the Mirror" become a chart-topper in the Philippines. In other nations such as China, India, Japan and Korea, the single flopped, failing to chart.
