Glenn Carter (born March 27, 1964, in Staffordshire, England) is an actor and singer, and songwriter. He grew up in Liverpool.

He has appeared in London's West End numerous times in such productions as Grease, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Chess, Godspell
, Whistle Down The Wind, and Les Misérables. There he landed the role of Simon in Jesus Christ Superstar
, another Andrew Lloyd Webber musical production.

This experience lead him to successfully audition for the role of Jesus in a 2000 new stage production video of Jesus Christ Superstar, directed by Gale Edwards. This new production revived the show on Broadway, where Carter also played Jesus alongside Tony Vincent as Judas. His Broadway performance, though shortlived, earned him a Drama League Award.

Carter's most recent roles include Robert (Bobby) in the acclaimed musical Company at the Derby Playhouse, and MacDuff in the highly successful production of MacBeth at Derby Playhouse. He played the role of The Sultan in Derby Playhouse's production of Arabian Nights from 3rd December 2005 to 28th January 2006. His next role will be as The Baker in the Derby Playhouse production of Into The Woods by Stephen Sondheim. Glenn has also recently played a role in an episode of the BBC TV show Doctors.

Carter is also the President of the British Raëlian Movement.

He has three albums, entitled Three Miles High, 2Wice Around The Sun and Glenn Carter-Fan Club Edition which has three songs plus a remix of "3 Miles High."
