She is grandmother to famous child actor Ryan Malgarini who lives with her along with her husband in Nevada. She has played some small movie roles, including an uncredited appearance in Freaky Friday, 2003, as the mother of the groom "Ryan" ('played by Mark Harmon' ). In the rehearsal dinner scene, she is seated at the same table as Harmon, as well as her real-life grandson, who plays young Harry.
