| Holly Aird (born 18 May 1969 in Aldershot, Hampshire, England) is a British actress. Having been discovered at the age of nine, Holly grew up around cameras and film sets. She went on to make a name for herself in Soldier Soldier and has since appeared in many TV shows and films.
She is now best known for playing workaholic tough nut Frankie Wharton in the popular BBC crime drama Waking the Dead.
