| Honor Maria Ford-Smith (b. 1951, Toronto, Canada) is a white Jamaican actress, scholar, and poet. Ford-Smith, who had studied theatre in the United States and Britain, was a co-founder and artistic director of Sistren, a theatre collective of working-class Jamaican women established in 1977. Sistren created its own plays collaboratively, and performed in Jamaica and abroad. She edited and contributed to a book of memoirs written by the members, Lionheart Gal, published in 1986.
