"Human Nature" is a song on Michael Jackson's 1982 hit album Thriller
. The song is about a young man who questions how he is treated by one part or all of society. The line in the song's bridge "I like living this way, I like loving this way" struck a chord with many in the homosexual community.

In 1983, Human Nature went to its peak position of #7 in the Pop Singles Charts, beating other songs such as P.Y.T, Off The Wall and Heal The World. Human Nature also went to #27 in the Black Singles Charts.

Many often wonder why Human Nature wasn't released in the UK, or had a music video produced for the song. However, it still remains a hit for Jackson listeners and fans and it is no surprise, due to the soft nature of the song and its excellent lyric content.

From looking at many reviews of Thriller, it is clear to see that Human Nature is without doubt one of the people's favourites. Many believe that Human Nature is heavily underrated.

Human Nature can sometimes be heard playing on UK radio stations such as Heart 106.2 and Magic 105.4.

"Human Nature" was sampled by SWV on their Teddy Riley-produced 1993 single "Right Here". Rapper Nas also used a sample for his single, "It Ain't Hard to Tell", which was released in 1994.
