| Ian Gomez is an American actor best known for his recurring TV roles. On The Drew Carey Show he played Larry Almada, a co-worker of Drew's at Winfred-Louder. On Curb Your Enthusiasm he played the "bald chef," whom Larry hired to cook in the restaurant he owned with Jeff, Ted Danson, Michael York, and Hugh Mellon. He can now be seen on TV in ABC's Jake in Progress, starring John Stamos. Gomez is married to actress-writer Nia Vardalos of My Big Fat Greek Wedding fame. He is of Puerto Rican and Russian Jewish descent.
