Ignatius 'Iggie' Wolfington (born October 14, 1920 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania;of the philadelphia Wolfington family, attended West Catholic High School, Iggie died September 30 2004 in Studio City, California) was an actor best known for playing Marcellus Washburn in the Broadway musical The Music Man
. He was nominated for an Actor, Supporting or Featured (Musical) Tony Award in 1958 for his role with Helen Hays in Mrs. McThing. His wife Lynn Wood (actress).

He spent 15 years as West Coast representative of the Actor's Fund of America, which helps actors in need of financial, medical and other assistance.

(Iggie) Wolfington served in the U.S. Army in World War II, receiving a Purple Heart and Silver Star as well as a battlefield commission as a first lieutenant. Iggie was buried at Arlington Cemetery with full military honors where his head stone witnesses his love of country.
