Isabel Lucas (born January 29, 1985 in Melbourne) is an Australian actress. Her mother is Swiss, her father Australian and she lived in Switzerland for a year as a child. Currently, she plays Tasha Andrews on the successful Australian TV soap Home and Away.

Lucas had never intended to become an actress. A photogenic blonde, she was spotted at the Port Douglas market in Tropical North Queensland by a Sydney theatrical agent and auditioned for another role first before the character of Tasha was created for her. With little acting experience, her appearance on the show was a huge success. Due to her lack of acting experience, the script writers created a character who spoke in Pig Latin so that any flaws in her acting would not be noticeable. After many courses and practice in the TV show, Lucas is now a Logie Award winner (for new popular talent) and a spokesperson for the National Breast Cancer Awareness program.

Lucas dated co-star Chris Hemsworth for a time, the couple broke up in October 2005, but are now back together again after a 2 month break.

She loves dolphins and all things natural.

She lives on Sydney's North Shore.

Her parents live in Queensland.
