| Jack Shepherd (born 14 January 1988) is a British actor, best known for taking over the role of David Platt in the ITV soap, Coronation Street. Jack has played David since April 2000, when he took over the role from Thomas Ormson. Jack has also appeared in other TV dramas, such as, Where the Heart Is and Clocking Off. He has a brother called Tom and a sister called Amy.
