| Jack Watling (January 13, 1923, Chingford, Essex - May 22, 2001) was a British actor. He played the part of Professor Travers in the BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who in the serials The Abominable Snowmen and The Web of Fear. Jack Watling was the father of actresses Dilys Watling and Deborah Watling (who played the Doctor's companion Victoria Waterfield). He also appeared in the independent Doctor Who spin-off video Downtime.
