Actors - Jacques Audiard

Jacques Audiard (born April 30, 1952 in Paris) is a French film director .
At the beginning of the 1980s he successfully starts with screenwriting, e.g. Reveillon chez Bob! and Mortelle randonnée, Baxter, Fréquence Meurtre and Saxo.

In 1994 he directs the film Regarde les hommes tomber, a road movie with Mathieu Kassovitz
and Jean-Louis Trintignant
. The film wins the César for the best premier film and the prix Georges-Sadoul. Two years later he again works with Mathieu Kassovitz
on his second movie Un héros très discret adapted from the eponymous novel by Jean-François Deniau.

His third movie gets 10 nominations for the Césars
and wins eight, among them the awards as best film, best director, best screenplay, best film music, and best camera.

He also realized some clips, among them Comme elle vient by Noir Désir where all actors where deaf-mute and interprete the lyrics of the song in sign language. The start with subtitles created a minor scandal - three women discuss politics and come to the conclusion that "It's better to be deaf than to listen to that".
