James Stacy (born Maurice W. Elias December 23, 1936 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor. Stacy made his movie debut in 1957 in Sayonara starring Marlon Brando
. He also appeared regularly as Fred in The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. Stacy was a star of the television western series Lancer from 1968-1971 playing the character Johnny Madrid. He appeared in several movies during the 1950s and through the 1970s. In 1973, Stacy was and his girlfriend were struck by a drunk driver. He lost his left arm and leg and his girlfriend was killed. After he recovered he resumed his career appearing in roles including Posse in 1975 with Kirk Douglas and Something Wicked This Way Comes 1982. He turned down roles that could not accommodate his handicaps which included an appearance in the Golden Girls'' television sitcom. Stacy was married to actress Kim Darby 1968-1971 and has one child. He retired from acting in 1991.

James Stacy was arrested and charged with child molestation in 1995. He had pled guilty to felony molestation of an 11 year old child and misdemeaner prowling charges related to another young girl. According to the Los Angeles Times, he skipped bail and missed his sentencing and a judge issued an arrest warrant. He had fled to Honolulu where he was arrested. He waived extradition procedings and was returned to California where he was sentenced to 6 years in prison.
