| Jan Amanda Gustaaf Decleir (February 14, 1946), born in Niel, located in Belgium's province of Antwerp (Flemish Belgium) is a Flemish-Belgian movie and stage actor. Although he had played in many films before, he made his first big debute in Fons Rademakers "Mira" (1971). He turned down roles in Eyes Wide Shut and The World Is Not Enough but starred in Academy Award-winning movies like Karakter and Antonia and the Oscar nominated social drama Daens. In 2003, he starred in films such as Memory of a Killer. Jan Decleir is Flanders' most passionate, famous actor ever. He appeared in Flemish and Dutch movies and TV-series(mostly based on famous works of the Flemish literature) such as :
