She was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in New York City. She has had several small TV and movie roles. She started acting as child. Her first time on TV was in the Emmy winning ABC special Free To Be a Family with Marlo Thomas in 1988. Her first credited TV acting appearance was on an episode of the sitcom Kate & Allie in 1989. Her first appearance in film was as unnamed child in the The Godfather Part III
