Jose Climaco (born 1924), a Filipino film director made his first directorial job in 1947's Sa Kabukiran aka In the Field under Phils Pictures which starred by his real life partner Lilian Velez and former child star Narding Anzures.

His second directorial job is under 3 Star Pictures via G.I. Fever which starred again with Lilian Velez. Then he signed up a contract and made his first movie under Lvn Pictures via Parola aka Lighthouse starring Norma Blancaflor and Ely Ramos.

Being a hitmaker of his movie he continued to LVN until the late 1950s.

Climaco appeared some of his movie in cameo role like Alfredd Hitchcock.

Also known as Joe Climaco, He was married to popular soprano singer and co-star Lilian Velez.
