Josh Radnor (born on July 29 in Columbus, Ohio) is a Jewish-American actor who plays Ted in How I Met Your Mother.

He made his Broadway debut in 2002 in the stage version of The Graduate
opposite Kathleen Turner and Alicia Silverstone.

He was originally cast as the lead in The WB series Off Centre, but the role eventually went to Eddie Kaye Thomas.

He enrolled at Kenyon College, where the theater department presented him with the Paul Newman award.
