Juan Diego Botto-Rota (born August 29th 1975, in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a Spanish actor.

Juan Diego started acting at the age of 5 in his first role, in Juego De Poder. With 37 films, Diego is a very accomplished and highly acclaimed actor in Spain.

Juan Diego Botto's role in sobrevivire got him not only even more national recognition but global, having the film dubbed into numeros languages and dialects. The film sobrevivire circa 1996 was a hard hitting film about a woman who falls in love with a man who is unkowing to her homosexual. Juan Diego's career as an actor has taken him beyond the big screen and onto the stage staring in a few critically acclaimed plays in Spain. Initially Juan Diego's life started out with some hardship, having his father disappear in the Argentinian Dirty Wars when Juan Diego was only 2. Juan Diego's Mother and older sister Maria Botto also an actress moved to Madrid Spain in search of a new and better life. Currently Juan Diego Botto is enjoying his life in Madrid, Spain, although Juan Diego Botto claims he's single, he has been linked to a very important socialite/singer/actress
