Justin Chambers is an actor and former model currently starring in the ABC drama series Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Alex Karev.

He was born July 11, 1970 in Springfield, Ohio. He has five children with model agency booker Keisha Chambers; Isabella (b. 1997), twins Maya and Kaila (b. 1999), Eva (b. 2001) and Jackson. He has a twin brother named Jason, one older brother and two older sisters.

Chambers was discovered by a modelling scout on the Paris subway and went on to represent Calvin Klein in a fragrance campaign. He worked throughout Europe, Japan and the United States for CK and Armani. After changing his sites toward an acting career, he moved to New York where he studied at H.B. Studios for 4 years. That schooling landed him a few television roles like Another World and New York Undercover. He has starred in several movies including The Wedding Planner
alongside Jennifer Lopez.
