| K Callan (born January 9 in Dallas, Texas as Katherine Borman) is an actor best known for starring in the films The Unborn (1991) and Joe (1970). Callan has had recurring guest-starring roles on the television programs One Day at a Time, St. Elsewhere, Carnivàle, The Division, JAG, and Coach (TV series). She also played a key role on an Emmy Award-winning episode of All in the Family, and starred as Martha Kent, mother to Superman (Dean Cain) in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. While the year 1942 has been ascribed as her year of birth, given that she was married in 1957 (per IMDB), it is possible that this is incorrect.
