Kai Wong (黄凱; pinyin: Huáng Kǎi) is an actor, singer and producer.

- Cast as a teen star in Asia, but refused to downplay the dark nature of war and genocide. He quit two days before shooting and moved to New York to pursue acting.
- Withdrew from Stanford University due to extreme poverty. Even after withdrawing, he sometimes receives bills from the university to this day because they "can't seem to get him out of their system".
- After an audition where he performed the last scene of an English Renaissance play by Christopher Marlowe when Dr. Faustus enters hell, the director was so impressed that he recommended Kai Wong to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Kai Wong stayed on in New York instead.
- Worked as a cleaner and dishwasher to make ends meet.
- Started film career as a mythical New York celebrity's protégé. This celebrity and grand dame was the one who discovered John Lone, Joan Chen, supermodel Jade Go, Bai Ling and Lucy Liu.
