Kathleen Noone (born January 8, 1945 in Hillsdale, New Jersey) is a well-known American soap opera actress. Like British soap star Pat Phoenix, she is known for her fiery red hair.

She is most known for her role as Ellen Shepherd Dalton on All My Children, a role she played from 1977 to 1989. Immediately after leaving All My Children, she was asked to play the new role of Claudia Whittaker, sister to Greg Sumner (William Devane) on Knots Landing. She played the role from 1990 until the show was canceled in 1993.

In 1997, Noone originated the role of Bette Katzenkazrahi on the new soap Sunset Beach, playing her for the show's entire duration (shy of three years) until December 31, 1999.

From June 28, 2002 until her final appearance on August 3, 2005, she was asked to play the role of Mrs. Edna Wallace (mother to Kelli McCarty's character, Beth Wallace) on Passions. The most notable aspect of this role is that her character was very old and wheelchair-bound; 57-year-old Noone was quoted at the time as saying that it was very liberating to act and not have to wear makeup. Her character was later given an extreme makeover by Tabitha Lenox (Juliet Mills) and in her last episode, Edna went on a welcome board sign of Harmony in the tsunami waves and skipped out of town during the earthquake and tsunami disasters and then later make a wild exit to an unknown location.
