Keegan-Michael Key is an American comedian and actor best known for his appearance on MADtv
. As many MADtv regulars start, he first appeared on the show as a "featured" guest in the 2003-04 season and was subsequently promoted to a regular cast member in the 2004-05 season.

Biography and Education

Keegan was born Northville, Michigan in 1971 and raised in Detroit. He attended University of Detroit as an undergraduate and earned his Master of Fine Arts at Pennsylvania State University School of Theatre.

Television

One of his memorable characters on MADtv includes Coach Hines, a nuerotic, balding Catholic high school physical education teacher who routinely interrupts school assemblies to reprimand students.

Key is also the current host Animal Planet's The Planet's Funniest Animals.
