| Kelli McCarty (born on September 6, 1969 in Liberal, Kansas) won the Miss USA pageant in 1991, competing as Miss Kansas USA. Her win was a much celebrated one because the event took place in Wichita in her home state and because it marked the first time Kansas won the title. She was later a finalist at the Miss Universe pageant. McCarty got married in 2000 and went on to pursue a career in acting. She starred as Beth Wallace in the NBC show Passions from 1999 to 2005.
