| Kenneth Cope (born on 14 July 1934 in Liverpool) is an English actor. He is famous for his leading role in Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) (as the deceased Hopkirk), but also starred in Coronation Street as Jed (1961-1964), the satirical series That Was The Week That Was, two of the Carry On films (At Your Convenience and Matron, both 1971), and guested in four episodes of Casualty and one Doctor Who story (Warriors' Gate in 1981). He also starred as Ray Hilton in Brookside from 1999 until 2002. He married actress Renny Lister in 1961 and they have three children. They met when Renny worked on Coronation Street.
