Kevin Conroy (born November 30 1955 in Westbury, New York) is an American actor of stage, screen, and voice, best known for his portrayal of DC Comics superhero Batman in numerous animated series and features.

Chosen from over 150 candidates, he became the voice of Batman in Batman: The Animated Series, premiering in 1992. He has revived his role as the Dark Knight in The New Adventures of Batman and Superman, Batman Beyond, and Justice League/Justice League Unlimited, and guest starred on Static Shock and The Zeta Project, as well as starred in the feature-length movies Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
, Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero
, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
, and most recently, Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman
. He has received an exceptional amount of praise for his work in the role from fans and critics.

Kevin Conroy was once a roommate with future Superman Christopher Reeve at Juilliard Drama School. Coincidentally, another Batman actor Val Kilmer attended the same school as Conroy.
