| Kimberly Anne Walker (born June 19, 1968 in New York; died March 6, 2001 in New York) was an American actress. Probably her best-known role was that of Heather Chandler in the film Heathers. During the filming, her costar Christian Slater broke up with her and began dating Winona Ryder instead, an ironic echo of the film. The saddest element of art imitating life, however, was that one of Heather Chandler's best-known sneering lines was "Did you have a brain tumor for breakfast?" Years later, Walker developed a brain tumor (malignant glioma, as mentioned on her death certificate) and died at home on the morning of March 6, 2001, at the age of 32. Kim Walker is interred in Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, Suffolk County, New York.
