Kishan Shrikanth (born 6 January 1996), professionally known as Kishan or Master Kishan, is a Kannada-language actor from India. As of January 2006, having acted in 24 films and a popular Indian soap opera, he was in the process of directing a feature film, C/o Footpath (Care of Footpath), about an orphaned boy who wants to go to school. The film is adapted from a short story he himself wrote, and the cast includes prominent Indian actors Jackie Shroff, Saurabh Shukla, and Thaara. Kishan himself play the lead. The film is scheduled for an April 2006 release. Kishan will be, in all likelihood, the youngest director ever to release a commercial feature film. Shroff said of Kishan: "He is such a genius that I had to work in his film. He is constantly thinking about his next shot, constantly innovating to make it better. He is sure about what he wants from his actors".

Kishan counts Arnold Schwarzenegger among his favourite actors. He has said: "we all think we’ll be a Mozart, but in the end, we’re real lucky, if we end up as Salieri. After all, Salieri was a gifted musician. He just got bad press." His favourite singer is Morrissey, who is reported to be a fan of Kishan's acting work. The two have apparently communicated, and Morrissey is now said to affectionately refer to Kishan as "The Boy with the Film in the Cinema". "Kishan, it was really nothing. I too once wanted to go down in celluloid history," Morrissey replied after Kishan's profuse thanks: "Everyone should be so lucky as to meet this charming man. I've got everything now."

The Guinness Book of Records currently lists Sydney Ling as the youngest person to direct a professional feature film. Ling was thirteen in 1973 when he directed the Dutch film Lex the Wonderdog.
