Lauren Lee Smith (born June 19, 1980 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) is an actress now living in the United States.

Smith has appeared in such works as Christy; the remake of Get Carter
; and in the show Mutant X, where she played the character of Emma DeLauro.

Smith also a frequent guest star in the drama series The L Word, playing the character Lara "the sous Chef" Perkins, love interest to Dana Fairbanks. Lara and Dana broke up in season one, met again in season two, and became partners again by the beginning of season three. Smith recently filmed the movie Lie With Me, where she plays the character of Leila.
