Leigh Taylor-Young (born January 25, 1944 in Washington, D.C.) is an American actress, best known for her roles in Peyton Place, Dallas, Picket Fences and Passions. She has starred in several films, including the original version of The Big Bounce (1969). She also played the so-called "furniture", Shirl, in the cult film Soylent Green
(1973).

She has made guest appearances in Hart to Hart, Beverly Hills, 90210 and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, where she played the mother of Ezri Dax. Currently Young plays the role of Katherine Barrett Crane on the NBC soap opera Passions, alongside fellow soap opera veterans as John Riley, Andrea Evans, and Sharon Wyatt.

She is the mother to Fox Sports Network's Patrick O'Neal and the sister of actress Dey Young.
