Logan Wade Lerman (born 19 January 1992) is an American child actor. He is perhaps best known as for his role as Bobby McCallister on the television drama Jack and Bobby.

Personal life

Lerman was born in Beverly Hills, California to Jewish American parents. He first announced his intention to become an actor at the age of two, and began appearing in television commercials at the age of four.

When he is not working, he enjoys playing soccer and baseball. He is an LA Lakers fan.

Career

Lerman made his film debut in the 2000 film The Patriot
, with Mel Gibson. He appeared in several films over the following years, often appearing as flashbacks of main characters at a younger age as in What Women Want
, Riding in Cars with Boys
, and The Butterfly Effect
.

His first major role was in the television movie A Painted House
in 2004, for which he won a Young Artist Award. He made his television debut in 2004 as the lead character Bobby McCallister in the television series Jack and Bobby. The show revolves around Bobby McCallister as a young boy who grows to become President of the United States.
