Lois Moran (born March 1, 1909 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; died July 13, 1990 in Sedona, Arizona) was an American actress.

Short Career

Her career began in 1921, and Moran appeared in a couple of silent movies in the early 1920s. She is probably best known for her role in the 1925 film Stella Dallas
, after which she appeared in various musical movies. She did not make a successful transition (like so many actor's and actresses from the 'Silent Film Era) to 'talkies' (movies in sound).

After marrying Clarence M. Young in 1935, she retired from Hollywood.
