Lyman Ward (June 21, 1941) is an actor with numerous movie and television credits. He was born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick and graduated from St. Thomas University in Chatham, New Brunswick. He is most noted for playing Ferris Bueller's father in Ferris Bueller's Day Off
; following production in the movie, he married his wife in the film, Cindy Pickett (Katie Bueller) in real life, although they have since divorced.

In (1994) Ward acted in the film The Force
with Yasmine Bleeth and Jason Gedrick.
