| Madlyn Rhue (born October 3, 1935 in Washington, D.C., USA; died December 16, 2003 in Woodland Hills, California), was an American character actress. From the 1950s to the 1990s, she appeared in about twenty movies, including Operation Petticoat (1959) and It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963). She also was a guest star in dozens of TV shows, including an important 1967 appearance as Khan Noonien Singh's love interest in the famous Star Trek episode, Space Seed. She married Tony Young in 1962 and got divorced in 1970. More guest appearances included Cheyenne in 1955, Rawhide in 1959, Hawaii Five-O in 1968, Charlie's Angels in 1976, and Fantasy Island in 1978.She also had an appearance on Match Game '74. Beginning in 1977, Rhue was confined to a wheelchair due to multiple sclerosis. She continued to work, including a role on Days of Our Lives, but was limited to parts that did not require her to walk or stand. She died from pneumonia at the age of 68.
