Maite Perroni Beoriegui (born March 3, 1983) is a Mexican actress and singer, born in Mexico City, Mexico.

Maite Perroni was only eleven months old when she and her family moved to Guadalajara, the capital of the state of Jalisco in Mexico, because her father, Javier Perroni, was transferred to that city because of his job. The Perroni family lived there for twelve years. She has two brothers; Adolfo, who is three years younger than her, and Francisco (Paco), who is nine years younger. Maite, or "Mai" as her closest friends call her, studied action in Televisa's Centro de Educación Artistica (CEA) in the year 2000 coursing two years of the three years program.

She made her debut as an actress in Rebelde, where she plays Guadalupe (Lupita) Fernández, the sweetest girl in Elite Way School, who comes from a very humble family and gets the opportunity to study in the most prestigious school of Mexico City because of her excellent grades. She is best friends with Roberta Pardo (Dulce María) and Jose Luján (Zoraida Gómez), Lupita is a girl full of dreams she hopes to achieve. Maite is also a member of the popular Mexican band RBD, that was formed during the recording of the series. The other five members of the band (Dulce Maria, Alfonso, Christopher, Christian, and Anahi) are also within the cast of Rebelde.
