Mamta Mukhund Kulkarni (born 20 April 1972) is an Indian Actress. She was known for her sultry acting style, tending to expose a lot of flesh (by Bollywood standards) in her movies. Her biggest role was possibly as the heroine Bindiya in Karan Arjun opposite Salman Khan, and alongside Kajol and Shahrukh Khan.

She is most notable and notorious for her topless photo shoot on the cover of the Indian cinema magazine Stardust. This led to her being charged under indecency and obscenity laws. Her appearance in court in 2000 on those charges, wearing a burqa to evade photographers, led to death threats and protests from the local Islamic community.

Although the photo shoot gained her a lot of publicity and attention initially, it also damaged her career, as it led to perceptions that she was not a serious actor. She made her debut in 1992 and has not been credited since 2002. She is now settled in New York City.
