| Maria de Medeiros (pron. IPA //) (born August 19, 1965 in Lisbon) is a Portuguese actress --daughter or musician and composer António Vitorino de Almeida-- who has been involved in both European and American film productions. Maria de Medeiros' most memorable film appearance was her portrayal of Anais Nin in Henry & June (1990). She landed this role partly because of her striking resemblance to the real-life character. In 1994 De Medeiros appeared in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction, where she played Bruce Willis' French girlfriend.
