Mariana Ochoa (born February 19, 1979) is a Mexican actress and singer, born in Mexico City, who was a member of the musical group OV7 (known as La Onda Vaselina in the beginning of its career) OV7 was eventually dissolved, and Mariana began dedicating herself to acting, with her first major role being a main character in the soap opera La Hija Del Jardinero. In it, Mariana played "Luisa Fernanda", a honest and kind hearted girl who turns out to be the granddaughter of an important business man. The soap opera has been well-received in Latin America.
