Marques Barrett "Batman" Houston (born August 4 1981 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor and R&B singer, best known as lead singer of boy band Immature/IMx, and for his role on the hit show Sister, Sister.BiographyBorn in Los Angeles to Carolyn Houston, Marques had been talented all his life. He started band Immature with his childhood friends Jerome "Romeo" Jones and Kelton "LDB" Keessee. Chris Stokes became the manager of the group and they scored chart-topping hits on their debut album "On Our Worst Behavior" in 1992. It was released on Virgin Records. Which led to other albums like "Playtime Is Over", "We Got It" and "The Journey. In 1997, Marques' mother Carolyn died of cancer. He wrote songs "Alone" and "Please Don't Go" at the time of her death. In 1999 him and his band changed their name to IMX to show off how mature they had became. They later disbanded.Music CareerHouston began his musical career as the frontman of boy band Immature (IMx)In 2003, Houston recorded his first solo album with producer Jermaine Dupri, entitled MH. It was moderately successful, but with no major hits. He recently released sophomore album, Naked. The first single, "All Because Of You", was an Urban chart hit. The video for the second single "Naked", the title track for the album, became controversial when music networks including BET and MTV refused to air it because of the content. It was edited and now is shown on BET. He is currently signed to TUG. He was also rumored to have had a relationship with Miyoko Chilombo, who was the girl on the Beautiful You Are video. He is the half brother of Omarion and O'Ryan (according to VH1.com). He likes to play basketball, read books, and race cars in his free time. He got his nickname "Batman" at a stage tour. He had been at all 3 Scream Tours with B2K, Nick Cannon, Mario, and Bow Wow. He is of African-American and Mexican descent.
